Wikileaks is everywhere in the press. Either in reporting on Wikileaks itself or on the topics out of the new Wikileaks release. Not knowing how to deal with Wikileaks or not knowing how to deal with their latest release seems to be the best ground for coming up with a press release these days.

The best ground in reacting to Wikileaks and its releases if you’re an official of a firm or a state departement involved seems to be forgetting any democratic principles when it comes to Wikileaks. It’s going to be a very interesting topic on the upcoming World Press Freedom Day being presented in the United States of America:

In der Landeshauptstadt Nordrhein-Westfalens standen aber auch schon seit Tagen Polizisten mit Maschinenpistolen am Bahnhof rum, die wollen ja auch mal das Gefühl haben, gebraucht zu werden. Und wenn jetzt jedes Mal so ein Tamtam um liegen gelassenen Müll gemacht wird, haben die Jungs ja öfters was zu tun.

Auf diese Art eröffnet man Terroristen im Gegenzug ein bequemeres Leben: Man muss nicht mehr sein Leben auf’s Spiel setzen, einfach irgendwo eine blaue Tüte liegen lassen reicht inzwischen vollkommen aus.

Ja, und warum hat es sowas wohl noch nicht gegeben? Weil keiner drauf gekommen ist? Oder weil Werbetreibende bisher politisch Engagierte nicht derart verhöhnen wollten, indem deren Engagement für Billigwerbung instrumentalisiert wurde?

Ja, wen interessiert auch schon politisches Engagement, wenn man kostenlos ins Fernsehen kommen kann?

So ist es Sixt, mit dieser eindrucksvollen und sicher noch für viel Gesprächsstoff sorgenden Aktion, wieder einmal gelungen, sich mit wenig Geld und viel Mut in Erinnerung zu rufen.

Auch im Selbstlob findet man bei Sixt keine Grenzen: Wer verstehen will, dass die bezahlten Sixt-Werber auf der Demonstration gegen den Castor-Transport mutig waren, und nicht die eigentlichen Demonstranten, der muss in der Werbebranche sein.

Verdammt, ich hab nichts, ich miet bei Sixt.

Einer der spätesten Tweets der Woche, denke ich mal. Aber die Rubrik soll mal nicht unnötig aussfallen für diese Woche.

In NRW enden gerade die Schulferien und das bedeutet, dass der Alltagsstress für Schüler wieder beginnt. Mittlerweile darf der Bildungsnachwuchs ja bis spät in den frühen Abend hinein an der Penne abhängen, damit den Eltern mehr zur zur Organisation des Broterwerbs bleibt. Mit besserer Vermittlung von Bildung hat das schließlich nichts zu tun.

Man wird hinterher mal sehen, was aus dieser für die Schüler wenig sinnstiftenden Überterminierung des Alltags wird. Unsereins war damals heilfroh, dass man nur den halben Tag in der Schuleinrichtung zu sein hatte.

Immerhin erleichtert die Freude über gute Schulleistungen den stressigen Schulalltag. Und will offenbar gefeiert werden.

Sexual tmi’s in twitter have always been a bit interesting. Mostly because I wasn’t used to those situations. Regularly those were situations of women and it was kind of natural that those experiences were unusual to me.

This doesn’t mean there are no male experiences unknown to me. But that has mostly to do with me not getting physically into those situations. Obviously there are also situations that don’t occur to me naturally:

“What is twitter all about?” is a regular question twitter user have to answer, because they are using it. En gross it’s about getting and sharing information, whereas that information is most of the time low of quality.

So the question arises again: “What is twitter all about, if not just spending your time randomly?”

Well, you could answer, twitter was one of those things in life, where the question of its sense can’t be put in one single sentences, whereupon this wouldn’t mean there was none. It just would lie in its potential to use it. This is a quite philosophicla answer and hard to criticize as it goes down to the argument: Having something with a possible usage is better than not having it at all.
